The shift is Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.$70,000+ Salary and $3,500 Relocation Assistance is available.*Benefits:*Medical, Dental, Vision insuranceHealth Savings AccountEmployee Assistance ProgramLife InsuranceShort/Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance / Company Paid LTD 40%15 Days Off12 Paid Holidays, one paid week off at Christmas through January 1Professional Development Assistance401(k) Retirement PlanJob Responsibilities:* Provide instruction in aviation maintenance technology to students in compliance with FAA, State and regulatory body requirements.* Demonstrate proper safety procedures* See that equipment and/or labs are properly maintained* Establish and maintain academic and attendance records* Submit attendance, grades, student evaluation, and all other required documentation and reports per established procedures* Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab* Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with class participants.* Work as a team member with all other instructorsQualifications:* All applicants subject to a pre-employment drug screen* Must have an FAA A&P certificate.* Must have 3 or more years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience).* Highschool diploma or equivalent* Prefer prior instructional experience.* Prefer experience troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of aircraft systems.* Prefer knowledge and understanding of Airmen Certification Standards (ACS) specifically the general subjects required to receive a rating of Airframe or Power Plant.Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and teamwork oriented National Aviation Academy values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply.
