manufacturing into an advanced manufacturing industry through

HOW THIS ROLE SUPPORTS OUR VISION
This position plays a key role on 99Degrees' Executive Team. The
CFO will work with the CEO, EVP, Operations and Board of Directors
to develop and implement financial strategies to drive sustainable
growth, expansion, profitability and corporate value. This role
leads 99Degrees' Finance and IT departments with responsibility for
the systems and controls that ensure accurate and timely KPI
monitoring, financial analysis, reporting, data visibility and
integration with operations. This role provides expert external
stakeholder relations support to advance our vision and works
collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive performance
management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Executive Leadership
- Partner with the Executive Team and Board of Directors to
develop and implement a multi-year strategic growth plan. Provide
financial insight, perspective, and guidance.
- Lead the development of values-based financial strategies to
grow market leadership, support sustainable growth, and build
corporate value.
- Serve as a management liaison to external stakeholders
including banks, investors, accounting and auditing firms,
insurance agencies, customers, vendors, government organizations,
etc. Build strong collaborative business relationships. Negotiate
contracts to achieve business targets. Manage due diligence during
capital raises.
- Monitor and update leadership on economic conditions, trends,
and business risks. Conduct market research to support internal
financial analysis.
Financial Leadership
- Ultimately responsible for financial practices and audits.
Accountable for compliance with government regulations and other
contractual requirements.
- Set annual financial goals and lead the development of capital
and operating budgets to ensure optimal utilization of financial
resources. Ensure that the budget is accepted and thoroughly
understood throughout the organization. Monitor and analyze
performance against budget.
- Lead the selection and implementation of our ERP. Ensures that
the system meets internal financial and operational
requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial
reports, performance and variances analyses, and cash flow models.
Responsible for reporting results and analyses to the Executive
Team and Board of Directors.
- Drive performance management by tracking key metrics and
indicators and proactively reporting and communicating gaps and
actions needed to management.
- Instill a culture of fiscal integrity, transparency,
consistency, and accountability; use accounting systems, policies,
and controls to ensure accuracy and data validation.
Management + Team Development
- Lead and manage Finance and IT departments.
- Establish a people-centric culture that fosters professional
development, continuous improvement, and a culture of high
performance.
- Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative
approach; establish priorities, set objectives, assign
accountabilities, and monitor and evaluate results.
- Monitor staff performance and development goals; conduct annual
performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
- And any other related task deemed to be necessary to
effectively lead 99Degrees' Finance and IT departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

and have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a
related field.
- Minimum 10 years progressive financial management experience,
ideally with both external audit and senior in-house financial
management experience gained in a high-growth
organization.
- Experience optimizing corporate financing, brings strong
working relationships with the banking community.
- Experience overseeing an ERP/MRP selection and
implementation.
- Experience in manufacturing, apparel/footwear, or a related
field.
- Past experience with investor relations and due
diligence
- Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint,
Word)
- Proven experience translating business goals into clear
performance plans for the different departments.
- Ability to assess resource requirements and financial impacts
of new business initiatives (e.g., new products, geographic
expansion, pricing), weighing in on which initiatives should have
priority and partnering with the executive team to
execute.
- Experience in re-engineering processes and implementing
controls to prevent financial error. Understand data flow between
financial and operating systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy
of information.
- Experience presenting and involving different departments in
the business metrics, dashboards, and reporting. Monitor and create
visibility on departments' performance against budget.
- Experience anticipating and mitigating risks. Ability to think
beyond 3 year plan strategy.
- A proactive problem solver with exceptional communication
skills and the flexibility to be both a doer and a leader.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive
organizational change and development within a growing
organization.
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse
levels of expertise. Ability to influence and engage direct and
indirect reports and peers.
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation
skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior
management, board of directors, and staff.
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as
strategic thinker
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA preferred.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience working in a growing start-up environment is
strongly preferred.
