residential properties in Boston, MA. Service excellence is at the
heart of what we do. We are seeking a skilled technician to join
our property management team. Must strive the achieve a high level

is also able to work independently. Position Summary: The
Maintenance Technician is a visible, key member of our Service
Excellence Team. This role is responsible for maintaining the
physical condition and appearance of our properties while adhering
to operational and safety standards. This includes individual
apartments, commercial spaces, common areas and building exterior.
Job Location: Boston, MA Position Type: Full Time plus On-Call
Hours Schedule: Day Shift; Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM On Call Rotation:
One week per month. Includes nights/weekends. Paid Overtime.

Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repair in
residential apartment units and commercial properties. Perform
assigned preventative maintenance duties and tasks following all
operational manuals and manufacturer specifications. General
repairs and diagnosis: Electrical: fixtures, outlets, switches,
ballast replacement Construction: Framing, sheet rock installation,
door hanging Basic Plumbing: Restroom and kitchen fixture
replacement, drain maintenance Wall repair/patch/paint Furniture
Installation: Assemble, install, repair, refinish Flooring: Small
flooring installations, repairs to carpet, grout Complete make
ready/unit turns, including painting, drywall and cosmetic repairs
Responsible for snow removal in person, on property, both by hand
and by machine Enforces and adheres to company policies, rules and
regulations. Takes initiative to maintain the properties.
Immediately address and report any safety issues to property
managers. Participate in training seminars as requested Must
exercise good judgement and work successfully as part of a team and
on individual assignments. Qualifications: Qualified candidates
will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities
maintenance. Successful completion of background check (SORI/CORI
etc.) Must complete Predictive Index survey Must be available
nights and weekends and when scheduled for On-Call Must have
general knowledge of basic construction principles Must be
proficient with basic hand and power tools such as drills, power
saws, laser levels, and other types of tools Must be proficient in
basic computer skills and smartphone use including Microsoft Suite,
property management software such as RealPage, Loft, and Coast.
Experienced at handling emergencies and work well under pressure in
sensitive situations due to complexity and time sensitivity when
resolving problems. Must be customer service oriented, reliable,
dependable, a team player, detail oriented, a problem solver and
self motivated. Capable of lifting and exerting up to 50lbs
occasionally, 10 to 20 pounds consistently. State licensure in
construction and HVAC preferred Must have a valid driver's license
and transportation. This role requires being able to travel between
our properties in Boston throughout the day. OSHA 10 certification

Program The salary for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000
depending on experience and qualifications.
