Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This full-time opportunity is for a Special Education
Teacher at an early childhood school in Cambridge, MA. The position
focuses on providing intensive support for students with severe
needs in a PreK-2 setting. The ideal candidate will hold
Massachusetts special education licensure, preferably with a severe
disabilities endorsement, and possess experience working with
students with autism, developmental delays, and limited verbal
communication skills. Key responsibilities include managing a
caseload of students requiring intensive interventions,
implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), and
utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
to support students communication and learning. The special
education teacher will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams,
families, and support staff to create inclusive classroom
environments that foster growth and development. Qualifications and
experience: - Valid Massachusetts special education teaching
certification, with preference for severe disabilities licensure -
Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism spectrum
disorders and developmental delays - Proficiency in using AAC
devices and techniques to enhance student communication - Ability
to design and deliver differentiated instructional strategies
aligned with student needs - Strong collaboration and communication
skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams This
