Job Description:

Seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to support and grow the Quality team for a semiconductor manufacturing company. The Quality Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Executive VP/COO working directly with the Quality, Operations, Sales, Production Control, Production and Engineering teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Compile and submit product qualification reports to DLA for all new products and requalification of existing products. This will also include custom products that need new travelers developed; Assembly, Test/Screening and Conformance. Collaborate in the generation/update of process/product Risk Management documentation (ex. FMEAs and Hazard Analysis, in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams). Primary lead for external regulatory, certification, and customer audits (including customer governmental and ISO registrars). Arrange and sponsor audits of new vendors as needed for DLA programs. Ensure successful audit, corrective action implementation and certification. Oversee Complaint Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action Systems, and the tracking/reporting of metrics. Attend JEDEC conferences to participate in maintenance and development of industry and governmental specifications and standards. Act as management representative to DLA Defense Logistics Agency and oversee participation in MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38535 programs. May author, review and/or approve documentation for process and design change activities as well as validation/verification oversight and/or test method execution in cooperation with cross functional engineering teams per project requirements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field and 3-5 years experience. Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize activities according to quality and production requirements. Good written, verbal, and computer skills; including Microsoft Office exhibiting strong excel skills. Exceptional communication, people skills and attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to follow Clean Room and ESD protocols.
