Job Description:

The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer will be dedicated to advancing and implementing safety standards, policies, practices, and training to boost industrial safety and health performance and ensure regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Facilities & EHS, this role will require full-time on-site presence.Client DetailsThis company specializes in designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing modular power components and complete power systems using patented technologies. It serves a range of sectors, including enterprise and high-performance computing, industrial automation, telecommunications, transportation, and aerospace and defense.Description

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Implement and monitor safety programs and policies to meet OSHA and other standards.
  • Develop and manage programs for hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, confined space entry, fire protection, and other safety compliance areas.
  • Coordinate accident prevention programs, investigate incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, advise management, and oversee inspections and reporting.
  • Administer and track health and safety training for employees and contractors.
  • Analyze and mitigate health and safety hazards for operations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and revise SOPs as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response planning and training.Profile
    • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related field preferred.
    • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or safety preferred.
    • Knowledge of OSHA, state regulations, and NFPA.
    • Strong communication and training skills.
    • Ability to resolve technical issues independently.
    • Experience with multi-shift operations and emergency management.
    • Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Job Offer
