seeking a Capital Equipment Engineer to join our team, responsible
for ensuring that all company equipment acquisitions meet
established technical standards while supporting the procurement
process. This role combines technical expertise with procurement
oversight, helping the company maintain consistent, high-quality
equipment across operations. Responsibilities: This is a direct,
on-site, customer-facing and supporting role where the expectation
is high communication and involvement with the mod center customer.
Develop, maintain, and enforce technical standards for capital
equipment, ensuring all acquisitions comply with company
specifications. Integrate technical requirements into the
procurement process, including reviewing vendor proposals,
specifications, and contracts. Support equipment selection and
evaluation, providing guidance on design, performance, and
compliance. Assist in managing the procurement process,
coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Support vendor management, including coordinating communications,
tracking deliverables, and resolving issues, among other duties.
Serve as a point of technical escalation and dispute resolution for
vendor-related equipment or performance concerns, among other
duties. Conduct basic project management tasks, including tracking
equipment timelines, budgets, and delivery schedules, among other
duties. Conduct detailed technical project management tasks,
including running technical design reviews, coordinating
contractors, and facilitating acceptance tests and inspections,
among other duties. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and
procurement teams to optimize equipment performance, safety, and
reliability. Provide technical input for contract negotiations
related to equipment standards and specifications. Travel
Requirements: Travel as needed to customer and vendor sites for
project support, bidder's meetings, equipment inspections,
performance evaluations, installation oversight, supplier audits,
and other related tasks. Travel may include domestic and
international trips depending on project requirements. Expected
travel is up to 10-20% of the time, but flexibility is required for
project-driven needs. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, or closely related technical field. 7 years
of experience in one or more of the following areas; manufacturing
engineering or machine tool design or procurement or technical
standards development or machine tool related EH&S or vendor
management or supplier qualification Strong understanding of
engineering principles, equipment specifications, and technical
standards. US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with procurement processes and
vendor management is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects
and maintain attention to detail. Data-driven technical skillset

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work
primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance
workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process,

salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an

associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience,
location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may
