Job DescriptionSalary: DOEVPT Components is seeking a Vice President of Finance for its manufacturing facility located in Lawrence, MA. This individual will serve as a key member of the management team and assume a high level of responsibility for the company's financial integrity, ERP, accounting & reporting systems and administrative functions. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of full-cycle financial reporting and operational accounting
  • Direct and lead the monthly close process
  • Heavy emphasis on cost accounting & inventory control
  • Support consolidation for roll-up into publicly held parent company financials
  • Pro-forma financial forecasting and annual budgeting
  • KPI generation, analysis and presentation to company Board
  • Lead inventory cycle counts, support optimization of stocking levels for manufacturing requirements
  • Maintain SOX/COSO control requirements and support internal/external audit requests
  • Coordinate with external CPA to support federal/state tax reporting and file annual returns
  • Serve as primary lead on corporate administrative duties
    • Negotiate and maintain employee benefit plans and company handbook
    • Maintain company insurance policies
    • Liaison with outside payroll service provider
    • Maintain corporate banking relationships
    • Maintain company ERP systems
      • Coordinate with outside service providers to ensure integrity and function of business systems
      • Coordinate with on-site and parent company IT staff to ensure integrity and function of network architectureThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
        • Considerable professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Competency and comfort with manufacturing cost accounting & inventory control is critical
        • 5+ years minimum of high-level accounting experience
        • Comfort with cross-department interfacing, excellent communication skills
        • Desire to contribute significantly to VPT Components' success
        • Passion for precision and attention to detail
        • Leader, self-starter, high energy, positive attitude, growth mentality
        • CPA/CMA highly preferredThe VPT of Finance will report directly to the Executive Vice President & COO. Customary full-time benefits, bonus plan and equity potential available.
