Our client hospital is private non-profit hospital with 189 beds in
Northern Massachusetts. It is affiliated with Tufts Children's
Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard
Medical School teaching hospital.
Job Details
The Director of Maternal Child Health is responsible for directing
strategy, operations and the clinical practice environment. The
service line includes Labor & Delivery, Maternity, Special Care
Nursery and Pediatrics.
This position reports to the Senior Vice-President of
Operations/Chief Nursing Officer.
The Director of MCH works closely with Medical Directors. L &D
has a laborist program, residency program and private providers to
do over 1400 deliveries annually. A clinical affiliation with Tufts
Children's hospital is in place for pediatrics and neonatology.
The Director will promote standardized systems ensuring a strong
nursing practice environment and a philosophy of patient centered
care. A commitment to nurturing a culture of safety is essential as
these teams have done much work in establishing safety huddles,
just culture and Team Steps.
