Follow @abbvie on , , , , and .Job DescriptionThe position will be responsible for owning digital systems and data management strategies for biologics drug substance within Product Development Science and Technology.Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of work processes to eliminate manual data manipulation and drive efficiencies in data aggregation and visualization, aiming to streamline IND/BLA authoring. This includes:

• Partnering closely with process scientists, engineers, and statisticians to define data flows within the CMC organization.
• Collaborating with AbbVie Business Data Systems/IT to deploy new digital systems.
• Working with Quality Assurance to ensure best-in-class biologics CMC data integrity practices.
• Serve as business area owner for various data and lab systems (e.g., PI, NuGenesis, IDBS).
• Engage with regulatory authorities (FDA, EMA) as required.
• Stay current with industry best practices and benchmark against peer companies.Qualifications
  • B.S., M.S., and/or Ph.D. in biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, computer engineering/science, data science, or related fields with 10+ years of industrial experience. Experience in biotech or biopharmaceutical development is preferred.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
  • Technical understanding of biologics manufacturing, quality, and analytical issues required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed team and influence scientists and SMEs across disciplines.
