Job Description:
Collects, analyzes, and finalizes conclusions from primary
(Common Weakness Enumeration) and secondary (Cerulli) data sources.
Analyzes business requirements to create comprehensive project
design documents. Captures epics and stories to develop and test
original and creative technical solutions. Designs and implements
business tests to ensure project requirements are met. Evaluates
business requirements and identifies and analyzes technical issues.
Designs, proposes, and implements solutions throughout
projects. Primary Responsibilities: Conducts quantitative and qualitative research studies targeting
clients and associates to identify key objectives, preferences, and
requirements. Participates in Agile ceremonies -- backlog refinement
(decomposing epics into stories with clear acceptance criteria),
sprint planning (dependency identification), daily standups (issue
resolution), sprint closure, and retrospectives. Collaborates with stakeholders and product teams to create user
stories and translate those stories into features for the
development team. Identifies and delivers incremental in-market client testing
opportunities. Facilitates the backlog prioritization process. Elicits, captures, and interprets customer issues from multiple
perspectives across projects or within a program. Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic
perspective influencing project parameters and outcomes. Executes analysis -- cost benefit, functional decomposition,
structured analysis, context, diagrams, entity relationships,
workflow mapping, and diagramming efficiency studies. Identifies connections between business processes and technology
initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and
business architecture. Drives analysis and makes recommendations on client and customer
fit. Develops learning agendas and measurement approaches with
leading and lagging indicators including, Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) and the "One Metric That Matters" (OMTM) to
measure the effectiveness of solution hypotheses. Implements, measures, and publishes KPIs and OMTM to ensure data
is used to make planning decisions. Leads the business readiness rollout of solutions in
coordination with field planning and deployment. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field and
five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years
of experience performing business/data analytics and designing
digital strategies within a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, a Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry,
or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the
job offered or two (2) years of experience performing business/data
analytics and designing digital strategies within a financial
services environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) conducting data analysis, mapping,
and management -- performing data updates and scrubbing -- for
large financial datasets, using Excel or SQL. DE performing trend analysis and generating data visualization
for large complex datasets in the financial industry, using Quid,
Tableau, or Qlik. DE executing qualitative research and quantitative analysis,
using internal, external, primary, and secondary resources,
including Gartner and Forrester to gather, filter, synthesize,
analyze, and deliver digital financial services information --
industry benchmarking and competitive analysis -- of financial
services companies. DE analyzing emerging digital market trends across industries,
delivering financial service project recommendations, and
consulting, advising, and delivering insights on findings to
