ABA therapy early in life can increase the ability of the child to obtain language and expand their ability to learn. It can also reduce the future costs of special education and help families relieve stress. High structured environments can improve a child's social, academic and self-help skills.The Speech Language Pathologist works with clients who have developmental and social deficits in the area of expressive and receptive communication.Position details:Hours are Monday - Friday between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at the Beverly Center.Job responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist:Provide individual speech therapy to assigned clientsDevelop individual speech therapy plans with clientsFamily communication and treatment planningWrite and update client progress reportsAssist with client supervisionCoordinate and communicate with client's outpatient treatment team membersWrite, graph, and update client progress reportsEvaluate progress based on data and direct observationAttend team meetings as necessary and requested and effectively solve parental concernsAct as an active training member for ABA Therapists, including on-site staff training, orientation training, clinical and staff meetingsEnsure effective communication and interpersonal skills with staff, clients and parentsEnsure all clients are safe by implementing de-escalation strategiesSupervise and manage programs and behavior plans as neededParticipate in overall operational efficiency and safety of staff and clientsQualifications:Master's degree in Speech Pathology requiredLicensure by the State of Massachusetts as a Speech Language Pathologist CCC requiredWhy Join Us?Full compensation/benefits package after 30 hrs/week401(k) with company matchPaid time off, holiday pay, annual bonus planComplex work adding value to the organization's mission alongside a great team of coworkersEnjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunitiesAnnual licensing fees coveredWe have meaningful work for you - come join our team - Apply Today!Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
