Job Description:

The Rehabilitation Technician supports outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy care delivery under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. They welcome and escort patients from the waiting area into the treatment area and initiate patient treatment with active warm-up or modality as instructed by the therapist. They prepare and sanitize treatment areas, equipment and supplies, restock linens, remove soiled linens, position equipment for therapist access, and maintain daily cleaning and temperature logs. They also perform clerical duties, such as answering phones, booking patients, and faxing therapy reports to physicians. This role is at the Outpatient Rehab location at Marston Medical Center in Lawrence and involves 50-75% of time spent interpreting as a competent medical interpreter. Bilingual English/Spanish required along with interpreter certificate and/or ability to pass language screening for Medical Interpreter Certificate course. High School diploma and computer required. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Schedule is days but requires two evenings until 7pm.
