Job Description:

The IV (team) Registered Nurse (RN) provides expert, compassionate and innovative intravenous care to older adults, adults, children and newborns. IV care includes technology for placement of and maintenance of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC), Midline catheters, Implantable Venous Access Devices (IVAD's), triple lumen catheters, and peripheral IV insertion (PIV). The IV Registered Nurse (RN) provides consultation and training to the healthcare team as vascular access and infusion specialist. Patient and family education is a major function of the IV Nurse. Current Lawrence General Registered Nurses who are MNA members are also qualified to apply. Current IV experience required. Education And Related Experience:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI) preferred
• Experience with the placement of and maintenance of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) and Midlines required
• ASN with enrollment in a BSN/MSN program or equivalent service line experience may be considered with CNO approval. Benefits Include:
