Job Description:

An inpatient hospital in Massachusetts is actively seeking a patient-oriented and dynamic professional to join their staff a their new Nocturnist. In this role, the Nocturnist will be responsible for managing the treatment for patients admitted to the hospital. Responsibilities The Nocturnist will: Direct care and develop comprehensive treatments plans for adult hospitalized patients Communicate with patients and/or their designated healthcare advocate on progress and plans Ensure appropriate transfer of care when assigned hours of service end and upon patient discharge from the hospital Document daily involvement in patient care in the medical record and record charges appropriate to the level of service provided and documented Qualifications Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Massachusetts Board certified / board eligible internal medicine or family medicine trained Comfort managing medically complex patients Your privacy is important to us.
