Description: Level 3 Trauma Center Stroke and STEMI center 70k
visits 12 shifts a day, shifts are 8 or 9 hours Shifts are6a-2p
x2,8a-4p, 8a-5p,11a-7p,12P-8P,2p-10p x2,3p-11P,5p-1a, and10p-6a x2
There are always two board certified ED physicianson 24/7 Current
group includes 18 board certified ED physician and 5 mid-levels
Significant overlap of shifts Average1.5-1.8patients an hour No
shortage of procedures (expected to be able to do all ER
procedures) Anesthesia, Pedi Hospitalist, Hospitalist in house24/7
Trauma surgery on call24/7, expected to be at bedside in 30 minutes
for critical trauma Other on call specialties " Orthopedics,
neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery,
Vascular Surgery Intensivist in house7a-7p, Hospitalist cover
ICUfrom 7p-7abut Intensivist in on call ED does not respond to
hospital airways or codes Also have a FAST track option that sees
ESI 3-5 Compensation: Quality Bonus CME Reimbursement CME 1 week 4
