Pay Information $3,139 per week About The Position ID: 73819997 Shift: 10hr Day 10x4 Description: HWL Health Lawrence Hospital-AN-1113 OR Nurse Manager, Will needed documented experience with management\r\nOrientation Dates: 11/25 or 12/9\r\nCNOR Required & must have at least 2 years of previous perioperative & surgical management experience\r\nShift: 10a-8p 10hr days\r\n*If traveler is within 50miles from facility, local rate will apply\r\nEMR: Meditech\r\nDuties of Manager:\r\nEnsure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services\r\nEvaluate and assess the daily schedule and staffing plan and to make adjustments to clinical assignments if necessary to enhance the overall performance of the department and functioning of the unit.\r\nEvaluate and respond to changes in the daily schedule in real-time including add-on cases, late running cases, resource allocation, and other situations as they present.\r\nCollaborate with key stakeholders (anesthesia, surgeons, department chiefs) to balance daily changes while maintaining departmental efficiency, ensuring safe patient care and striving for optimal clinical performance and outcomes.\r\n\r\nNeed to be competent for on call for all specialties:\r\nMust be strong in Ortho trauma\r\nTotal joints (Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Reverse Shoulders)\r\nWhat Scope system do they use? Vascular (Fem Pop, AAA, AV fistula, Thrombectomies)\r\nGYN- Hysteroscopy, ABD/Vaginal/Lap assisted Hysterectomy, Cystectomy\r\nGeneral-Lap find out if the candidate is comfortable running the camera.\r\nColorectal hemicolectomy, Hepatic resections?\r\nENT (if no eyes its ok to still approve) Peds t&a and tubes\r\nUrology; Prostatectomy lap vs open, TURP, Stents, Cystos Bariatrics\r\nSpine (neuro and ortho) Do they do Ant/Post spines if so which table?. No cranies, yes burr hole, subdural hematoma, ).\r\nTrauma (No burns, yes gunshot, stabbing, multibone trauma)\r\nNo CV\r\nFacility starting Thoracic but none on call so ok to approve if weak in thoracic experience, please clarify in your notes.
