Pay: $2,779 to $3,013 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location: Lawrence, MA Start Date: ASAP – Crisis Need ( 1/20 . and 1/27) Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per month required Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a high-volume ED with an immediate need. This is a fast-paced environment requiring nurses who can hit the ground running. A higher bill rate is available for candidates able to start by 1/20 . Abbreviated compliance may be accepted to start, with full compliance required within two weeks. First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong emergency department experience. Emergency Department Details 41 private exam beds Accelerated Care Unit (ACU): 7-bed fast track 35 hallway beds Average ED census: 75 patients Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients as part of nurse-patient ratios Responsibilities Provide safe, efficient, and evidence-based nursing care to emergency department patients across the lifespan Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of care Administer medications and treatments per protocol Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Accurately document patient care in the EMR Maintain compliance with hospital policies and emergency nursing standards Submission Requirements Up-to-date resume reflecting 2 years of ED experience Permanent Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted with strong ED background) 2 recent ED RN references (Charge Nurse or Manager) Completed ED Skills Checklist RTO must be included at time of submission Local candidates accepted (within 50 miles at local rate) Licensure & Certifications Active MA RN license (required at submission) BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC – Required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Meditech Expanse 6 (preferred, not required) Strong pediatric emergency care experience Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, high-volume environment TB_HC ZR
