Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Salem, MA. Job Responsibilities /n - Rotating Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU /n - Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately /n - Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members /n - Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing /n - Respond to medical emergencies and activate appropriate clinical teams /n - Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s ICU stay /n - Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer /n - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records /n - Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years continuous Adult ICU experience (required) /n /n - Preferably 2 years in a MICU at one facility /n /n - Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips /n /n - Must be comfortable floating to Med/Surg (ratios 1:4–5) /n /n - Active MA RN license /n /n - AHA BLS /n /n - AHA ACLS /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
