Based in our Lawrence, MA location, you will lead a production team responsible for manufacturing custom fabric reinforced rubber diaphragms seal components that is supported by a multi-functional team consisting of: Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and R&D Engineering. This role will be supporting our second shift operations, starting at 1 pm ending at 10:30 pm, overtime eligible. If you have a manufacturing background and would like to bring your knowledge to an industry leader, we would love to hear from you!As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you willDeliver quality by ensuring process controls are in place and maintained.Supervise Molding department to ensure they are following schedule and meeting production goals.Detailed understanding of material identification and manufacturing processesSpend the majority of your time on the manufacturing floor (85% - 90%)Optimally communicate across a heavily matrixed organization, detailed and timely informationWho you are:You work cooperatively with others across organization to achieve shared objectives. You provide timely and helpful information to others across organization. You stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules.Required education, experience, & skills:Capable of working in a manufacturing environmentMust read, write and speak English (Spanish a plus)High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years experience as production supervision or team leaderPreferred education, experience, & skills:Technical School or some collegeProven track record of building / maintaining a strong safety cultureMechanical competenceWilling to work overtime to ensure start of shift operates efficientlyPrevious experience in the rubber industry highly preferredMust acquire a Massachusetts boiler license (all training will be on site), company paid
