and more. Job Summary: Manages all activities related to operations
and development of company products by performing the following
duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: • Develops and maintains manufacturing
operations business plans to include all program requirements,
labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image. • Provides input
to the development of product strategy and research and development
of new and emerging products. • Establishes production and quality
control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains
data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery
dates of products ordered. • Provides guidance to the development
of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements,
material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and
tooling and equipment needs. • Ensures all established costs,
quality, and delivery commitments are met. • Coordinates
manufacturing activities with all other functions of the
organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and
utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. • Reviews
production and operating reports and directs the resolution of
operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure
minimum costs and prevent operational delays. • Performs
administrative activities associated with the effective management
of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving
production data for reports. • Determines responsibilities of
assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business
objectives. • Responsible for the successful attainment of
production objectives, implementation of policies, and most
effective utilization of available resources and facilities. •
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements concerning dairy
processing, environmental, safety, and working conditions. •
Ensures effective communication between shifts and other
departments by ensuring established communication methods regarding
company performance and safety. • Assist in designing, improving,
and installing equipment and systems to improve plant efficiency
and meet plant needs. • Manage annual budget in such a manner as to
achieve the targeted objectives. • Work with Engineering and
Maintenance groups in maximizing output, improving equipment
availability, and reducing waste. Education and Experience: • BS /
MS Preferred • 9 years’ experience in a high volume dairy
manufacturing environment. Skills and Competencies: • Operations
management responsibility in a 7X24 operation. • Budgeting and
planning experience required. • Must have managed other operational
functions such as projects, processing, and packaging. • In depth
knowledge of PMO and other related regulatory guidelines as well as
interaction with federal and state government employees. •
Experience in building functional teams • Experience with filling,
and packaging LI-Onsite LI-LG1 Exact compensation may vary based on
skills, experience and location. The pay range for this position is
