Job Description:

Blazerworks has partnered with a school district in Lawrence, MA, to assist in hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position, and the assistant will be working with a team of SLPs to support students in the district. Responsibilities:

• Assist the SLPs in conducting assessments and evaluations
• Work with individual students and small groups to provide speech and language therapy services
• Help in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Maintain accurate records and document progress for each student
• Collaborate with other members of the special education team, such as teachers and paraprofessionals, to provide effective support for students Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs is a plus
