Job Description:
Location: Byfield, MA Duration: 35 Months Job Description:
Licensing Preferred (Not Required): If candidate does have a Pharm
Tech License please ensure to include the License ID on the resume.
If candidate does not have a current Massachusetts Registration
with the Board of Pharmacy, they will need to obtain a Tech Trainee
license prior to starting. Candidates that are selected for hire
can take the required photo and have the paperwork notarize at the
Byfield site before starting. Turnaround is about 2 weeks or
longer. If the candidates registration has expired, they will need
to contact the BOD prior to starting to have it reinstated.
Schedule: Each work week workers will be scheduled a mix of 3 Days
and 2 Evenings o 3 Days a Week Scheduled to Work 9:00am - 5:30pm or
8:00am - 4:30pm o 2 Days a Week Scheduled to Work 12:30pm - 9:00pm
o For example some weeks a worker might be scheduled to work a Mon
& Wed night, other weeks it might be a Thurs & Fri night. Every 4-5
weeks, a worker will be scheduled to come in on the weekend
(Saturday) and will have a day off during the week (Saturday
schedule is 9:00am to 6:00pm) Schedules are released week to week
About: Filling of prescriptions for patients going through
fertility treatment Speaking with patients on the phone Sitting at
a desk working (not on feet) 99% of the time will be phone
interaction with patients Outbound calls to patients Some inbound
calls may be part of responsibilities later on Other: For those
candidates who started as Pharm Tech Trainees, after 500 hours will
take a test onsite to get a Pharm Tech License. The actual 2 year
Pharm Tech License they would be responsible to pay for. Onsite
training is provided for those interested in the Certified Pharm
Tech License. Its 8 to 10 weeks of training. Once they are ready
they take the test off site.
