Role:

The Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and successful outcomes of a school site program. Site Coordinators will manage school-based teachers and staff who serve 90-130 students in grades K-6. Site Coordinators will also partner closely with the Academic Coordinator, the schools principal, administrative, and operational teams to ensure smooth program logistics that align with the school sites priorities.

Schedule:

Full-time, 10:00AM - 6:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of School Enrichment and Academic Coordinator to implement DESE 21st CCLC program operations at the school site, which includes but is not limited to: recruiting students of greatest need, recruiting and retaining high-quality staff, implementing and executing regular, high-quality learning activities, measuring and tracking various outcome data, and building overall community with students and families and within the school site;
  • Sustain positive collaborations with school personnel and community partners to support student learning;
  • Develop outreach that supports positive parent relationships;
  • Supervise and train group leaders/teachers;
  • Work with Director of School Enrichment, Academic Coordinator, staff, and parents to set goals and objectives to assure quality of service,
  • Complete all required reporting, billing, and record keeping for the program, including (staff and child files)
  • Collaborate with DCF caseworkers and therapists, as needed;
  • Assist in maintaining an environment that supports and encourages the growth and development of children;
  • Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations;
  • Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of children in the group;
  • Participate in staff meetings, and on-going professional development;
  • Complete all required certifications; and
  • All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred;
    • Experience working with school-aged children;
    • Experience working with community-based programs;
    • Experience managing other adults, both directly and indirectly;
    • Demonstrated performance competing administrative tasks;
    • Knowledge of sports/athletics, arts, music, and/or STEM programs is a plus;
    • Willingness to learn about childrens growth and development;
      Requirements
      • Must possess the qualifications required for their positions in accordance with EEC regulations;
      • Must complete CORI, SORI and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Early Education and Care prior to employment;
      • Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment;
      • Evidence of immunizations against Measles, Mumps and Rubella; and
      • Maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.
